How it works

From live audio to a finished doc.

What actually happens between "Record" and the outcome doc — and why none of it ever touches a server we run. (We don't run any.)

Step 1 · Before the meeting

Recording starts the moment you click.

No dialog, no setup. Hit Record — or press ⌘⌥R from anywhere on your Mac — and you're live; the button becomes a timer, and stopping it is the only other click. Start from a calendar item in the Today view and it carries the title and template; start cold and Apple Intelligence names the meeting afterwards. Flag a meeting for auto-record and ParseMeet offers to start right as the call begins.

ParseMeet captures both your microphone and system audio, so it hears every side of a video call.

Step 2 · After you hit stop

Transcribed on your Mac. Structured on Apple silicon.

Speech recognition runs on your device, on Apple's speech stack — the audio never leaves your machine. Moments after you hit stop, the Apple Foundation Models framework maps what was said onto your template's sections using guided generation: on your Mac's Neural Engine, or on Apple's Private Cloud Compute — servers built so that not even Apple can read what they process. ParseMeet picks automatically; both are private by architecture.

  • Audio never uploads. Recording and transcription are strictly on-device — and ParseMeet doesn't keep a transcript archive.
  • No ParseMeet servers. Structuring runs on your Neural Engine or Apple's attested Private Cloud Compute — never on infrastructure we run, because we run none.
  • Offline-proof. No connection? Everything runs on-device. ParseMeet never waits on a network to hand you the doc.

Step 3 · After

An outcome doc, not homework.

When you stop recording, the doc is already structured: a summary in the meeting's own terms, decisions as a log, action items as checkable tasks with owners and due dates. Edit anything, switch the template retroactively, or search it later alongside every other meeting.
